*Why blocks? Classes are offered in 4-week/4-class blocks to allow time to progress through lesson materials. This also offers a more consistent environment for students as they build relationships with one another and their teacher.

We understand that flexibility is important to families, so each block is self-contained and consists of its own set of class materials independent of other blocks.  Whether you are able to join us in Block 1 or even in Block 3, your child will feel up-to-speed!

What to expect

The Work

  • Learn techniques like breath work, projection, and articulation to improve vocal and speech control

  • Play games to strengthen active listening and improvisational skills

  • Learn general stage directions and terminology

  • Explore how physical movement aids in storytelling

  • Analyze and perform various scripts

The Why

Acting exercises innately help develop many soft skills that benefit children's development. These skills include teamwork, communication, and adaptability, among others. Activities also help foster traits like empathy, confidence, and collaboration.

On Cue Drama Club is a good fit for children who have an interest in acting, theatre, and public speaking, as well as for children who could simply use a boost in confidence and communication!
